More than 59 artists from 14 countries and regions will present works that delve into the local nature, history, and daily life of Gifu. Using the lush forests, the streets of Gero Onsen, the historic townscape of Hida Hagiwara, and a former schoolhouse built entirely of cypress as their stages, these artists explore the relationship between humanity and nature, reflecting on both the past and the future.
A new art festival begins, inviting you to immerse yourself in art and hot springs—awakening your mind, body, and senses to discover the beauty of the region and yourself.
