A guide from Iriomote Kayaks will meet you at Ohara Port on Iriomote Island at 8:30 AM or 1:30 PM with a sign. Access from Ishigaki Island: Please board the Yaeyama Kanko Ferry bound for Ohara on Iriomote Island at 7:30 AM or Yasunaga Kanko Ferry at 1:00 PM from Ishigaki Island Ferry Terminal. If you have already arrived on the island, pick-up and drop-off from your accommodation is available; please inquire in advance.

• Clothing/Belongings: We recommend wearing shorts and synthetic shirts that dry easily even when wet. (Jeans and other clothes that do not dry easily are not acceptable.) Please also bring a hat and sunglasses (the UV index is much higher here than in Honshu). On sunny days, clothes will dry quickly, but if you plan to change clothes, please bring a change of clothes and a towel. When it is a little chilly in early spring or early autumn, bring rainwear or a thin windbreaker. It can be chilly if it suddenly rains.
• Rental goods: Please let us know your shoe size in advance as you will be wearing special shoes.
