Description
Learn about kimono trivia while wearing a kimono in Kamo City, Niigata Prefecture, known as the Little Kyoto of Hokuetsu, and after dressing and taking photos, you will have free time. Recommended free time is to enjoy lunch at Yama Cafe, a famous Japanese restaurant nearby, or take a stroll through Kamoyama Park, which is home to Aomi Shrine, where Uesugi Kenshin's mother is said to have visited monthly when she was pregnant with Uesugi Kenshin, and the squirrel park (April to November). You can also see 500 carp streamers swimming in the Kamo River from April to early May, and salmon swimming upstream in November.
