Amajoh, located on the B1 floor of the Grand Hammer in Shinbashi, is an attractive restaurant featuring “Ama divers' bare-diving demonstration” held in a 20-ton aquarium.
This restaurant was established with the aim of creating a place where guests could learn about the culture of Ama divers who actually dive and harvest, create a connection between the production area and the urban area to get interest in the production area, and Ama divers could promote their bare-diving culture.
Amajoh offers “solo hotpot,” which you can enjoy seafood delivered directly from the production area and carefully selected Japanese black beef cooked in your favorite way, such as “yaki” (grilled) or “nabe” (hot pot)! You can enjoy original hotpot and grilled dishes such as shabu-shabu, sukiyaki, hamayaki, and yakiniku with your own choices of ingredients and broth.
They also have a wide selection of a la carte dishes, including snacks to go with alcohol, sashimi, tempura, robatayaki, and fried foods.
