Our staff will be waiting for you at the Minami Shirakaba Lake parking lot (free of charge), so please feel free to ask us for help. *If heavy snow or other reasons make it difficult for you to reach the meeting point on the mountain on the day, we will be flexible in changing the meeting point to ensure safety, so please feel free to contact us. *(The event is generally held in the area around Lake Shirakaba in Nagano Prefecture, but depending on the amount of snow on the day, the meeting point may change to a radius of approximately 3 kilometers for safety reasons.)

What to Bring
  • Clothing/Belongings: There are no specific requirements, but it is best to wear warm clothes and gloves. Also, since you will be walking through the forest, make sure you wear shoes that can be used in snow (sneakers are extremely cold and your toes will freeze). Boots (tall boots or snowboard boots are fine) are the most comfortable to walk in, and are a good choice because you don't have to worry about getting wet or dirty, for example, when crossing a river in winter.

  • 1 to 2 hours
  • If you're having fun and want more, we can extend the time (only if there are no other reservations). If 1.5 hours is too long, we can shorten it and focus on more content. We can also change the level slightly (if the snow is deep, we can also go down steep slopes if you wish).
