[Chitose River Cruise] It's about a 20-minute drive from New Chitose Airport, and you'll be surprised to see such a rich natural environment in such a place... You'll go down the Chitose River with a guide, watching the fish swimming under the clear water and the small birds flying through the trees. We'll talk about a lot of things, such as Hokkaido's wildlife and vegetation, Ainu culture, and the history of development, while enjoying the breeze of nature! [Standard course] The journey is about 5.5 kilometers from the meeting point, Daiichi Usakumai Bridge, to under the highway overpass. The nature-rich Chitose River is home to wild birds such as kingfishers, crested kingfishers, and the recently popular long-tailed tit. Kingfishers sometimes even guide you... You can experience the thrill of a natural river, going over waves and passing through a tunnel of trees that protrude into the river!
