Important Information
- You will receive a reservation confirmation email; please click the URL to confirm your reservation
For Expecting Mothers
- We’re very sorry, but we kindly ask that pregnant guests refrain from using the kimono dressing service.
- However, you are welcome to enjoy the foot reflexology massage. The soles of the feet contain many reflex zones, and some can potentially trigger uterine contractions when stimulated. Our therapists are well-trained in contraindications and will carefully avoid sensitive points during treatment. Instead, we focus on gently massaging the calves, which are prone to swelling during pregnancy, to provide comfort and relaxation.
- We strive to ensure a safe experience for our pregnant guests. However, if you have any concerns or feel uneasy, we recommend skipping the massage for your peace of mind. For Guests Driving During Peak Seasons
- During busy periods such as cherry blossom season, fall foliage season, and major holidays, traffic increases significantly, making it difficult to find parking. Heavy congestion is also expected around Kiyomizu-Dera. If possible, please use public transportation such as trains.
- Buses and taxis may also experience significant delays due to traffic. We strongly recommend arriving with plenty of time to spare.
Description
Keen to stroll around Kiyomizu-Dera and the streets of Higashiyama Kyoto in a beautiful kimono, and maybe take a lot of photos in the process?
Before soaking your feet in an “ashiyu” foot bath experience, we offer a hassle free beautiful kimono wearing experience.
Please ask about the type of foot baths available on the day of your visit.
