What to Bring
  • Clothing/Belongings: Ski, snowboard, or general winter mountain climbing clothing (non-waterproof windbreakers are not recommended). Fleece, down, or synthetic fiber down jacket as a mid-layer (to keep you warm during breaks). Wool or synthetic fiber underwear (shirt, underwear, socks). Cotton materials and heat tech are not recommended as you will sweat when moving. Be sure to bring hiking boots that are at least three seasons old (no snowboard boots). A 30L backpack, a knit hat, warm gloves, spats (gaiters), sunscreen, motion sickness medicine (essential for those who get motion sickness easily). Lunch (rice balls and other rice dishes don't taste very good when they get cold, so bread is recommended!) (If you bring hot water, you can also make instant ramen. Use the remaining soup to dip your rice balls in or drink it all.) Drinks (it's good to have a hot drink in an insulated bottle). ≪Good to have≫ Neck warmer, sunglasses
