Lesson overview You will learn the fundamental Ikebana flower style: the basic upright style of Sogetsu school which is one of the biggest schools in Ikebana world. Every Sogetsu Ikebana artist started their study from this flower style.
Your instructor — an experienced Ikebana teacher formally certified by the Sogetsu school of Ikebana — will show you how to hold the scissors correctly, how to use kenzan (a needle-pin holder), and how to create the basic Ikebana style.
After her demonstration, you will try to make the same style flower arrangement by yourself. You will get to understand the sense of space and the meaning of Ikebana by creating your artwork.

The color of the apartment is brown brick and eaves part is green.
If you arrive the apartment, please press 101, then the long thin button(2 Chinese character on it. It's confirmation button) at the entrance. You will speak on intercom. The teacher will open the gate. Please come down the stairs, then the atelier is on the right side.
