- . Activitty cancellation: If we decide to cancel due to weather, we will contact you. The tour will be canceled if danger is expected, such as rising water, rain, or a large number of horseflies. In some cases, you may be able to transfer to Shirakami no Mori trekking.
- . Precautions: ・This is an activity that will get you all wet.・If you are under 18 years old, please be sure to participate with your guardian.
- . Notices: ・This is an activity where you will get your whole body wet. ■Recommendations before or after the experience: Take a break at Mori no Eki. Recommended lunches are the Lamb Creme Donburi, Shirakami Donburi, and Horse Meat Ramen. Premium soft serve ice cream made with the bounty of Shirakami and souvenirs are also available for purchase. Day-trip bathing. The Yunosawa Onsen hot springs around Mori no Eki are famous for their skin-beautifying waters. Waterfall tour. Garo Falls and Choshi Falls are easily accessible and can be seen right after getting out of the car. The Shirakami-Sanchi World Heritage Center Fujisatokan is next to Mori no Eki. Free. Description
This is a special experience of walking along the beautiful clear stream that flows from the vast beech forest of the Shirakami-Sanchi World Heritage Site. A guide will accompany you, so even if you are new to river trekking, you can feel at ease. You will walk along a river so clear that you can see the bottom. If it gets too hot, you can swim, jump in, or let yourself go with the gentle current. It is an activity that even adults can enjoy. You can play safely as you will wear a life jacket. You will have lunch by the clear stream. You may also encounter creatures. It is a day where you can feel the untouched nature with your whole body. [Period] Held from July 1st to mid-September. It is recommended to go from mid-August onwards when the weather is stable. [Fun after the tour] At "Mori no Eki", you can enjoy local soft serve ice cream, coffee brewed with Shirakami water, souvenirs, etc. Take a bath at "Yunosawa Onsenkyo". (Additional fee) Visit "Shirakami-Sanchi World Heritage Center Fujisatokan" (9:00-17:00 / Closed on Tuesdays / Free). Visit "Garo Falls" and "Choshi Falls". All are located close to the meeting and departure points. *The nearest accommodation is Hotel Yutoria Fujisato.
