The Yaeyama fireflies start to glow about 30 minutes after sunset. Therefore, the approximate meeting times are as follows (depending on the location of the hotel): March: 18:45-19:00 April/May/June: 19:00-19:15
We will pick you up at each hotel or remote island terminal. Local gathering is also possible.
The observation location will be closed to the public as it is a secret spot discovered by the local guide!

On this tour, you will depart for the forest where the Yaeyama Hime firefly live around 7pm when the sun starts to set! After the lights start to appear one by one, countless fireflies begin to light up one after another, and the forest is enveloped in a truly fantastical space. This tour is highly recommended for those visiting Ishigaki in the spring♪
