Overview
"Aqua World Ibaraki Oarai Aquarium" is the aquarium that boasts the largest number of shark species kept. The aquarium currently keeps 54 species of sharks, including a white crocodile that is over 3 meters long. The aquarium is also engaged in breeding multiple sunfish, and the sight of many of them swimming leisurely in a dedicated tank is a must-see. The museum is conveniently located about 1.5 hours by train from Ueno Station, and is also easily accessible from Tokyo. We will be waiting for you to visit us!
