Reception and counselling After arriving at the studio, confirm your booking information at the reception desk. We will ask you about the details of your experience and your wishes. Please let us know your requirements regarding costumes, hairstyles and make-up. Choose your costume Choose your costume. Please let us know your wishes regarding kimono, obi, hair ornaments, props, etc. Hair and make-up Make-up will be done according to the colour of the kimono, including eye shadow and lipstick colour. You can choose your own hairstyle, either with the tate-hyogo hairstyle, which is unique to oiran (courtesans), or by setting your own hair and attaching a floral ornament. Short hair can also be made more glamorous with flower ornaments and hairpins. Dressing The costume is fitted and the transformation is complete. Photograph Once you have changed into your costume, you can start taking photos in the studio. The staff and photographer will give you advice on how to take beautiful photos.
