. Notices: [Lecturer Profile] Creative Calligrapher Koji Takano Art Calligrapher and contemporary artist. Born in Tokyo. After working as a musician, actor, copywriter, etc., he started his calligraphy activities on the streets of New York in the winter of 1999, and started producing works. One-of-a-kind works and naming books for each individual have been produced by more than 40,000 people. With the theme of “Calligraphy on the side of
”, based on his own checkered life and his unique style of writing and painting, he gives lectures, participates in workshops and social activities all over the country. As an art calligraphy class instructor, he has been developing activities to widely convey the joy of expression. He also designs sake labels, product packages, titles for TV magazines, designs for children's clothing, and logos and production for restaurants. Produced the team slogan for the J-League "Gamba Osaka", co-starred in the title book and music video of EXILE ATSUSHI and pianist Nobuyuki Tsujii's co-production "Soredemo, Ikiteiku", and recorded calligraphy scenes. Created paintings for the resort hotel "Park Hyatt Niseko Hanazono" in Niseko, Hokkaido. He is the author of "Don't be swept away/flowing / PHP Institute".

This is a performance in which the "Kanji of the Year" that represents the state of the world is written in large letters with a brush. "Taisho" means "to write large so that it is particularly noticeable." You can experience this "Taisho performance" at the popular Japanese culture experience cafe in Asakusa. There is no limit to the characters you can write. Please write your free ideas with a brush. Artistic calligrapher and contemporary artist Koji Takano will carefully teach you, so even beginners can feel at ease. Of course, you can take the completed work home with you.
