Tokyo’s red-light district of Kabukicho in Shinjuku has long been a place to see only-in-Japan dinner shows where the main appeal is the “WTF factor.” Finally, after a long dry spell, you can indulge again in a madcap performance you won't find anywhere else. The new dinner show “Samurai Restaurant Time” is here! Prepare for scenes like you’ve never seen before. This one-of-a-kind experience in three acts might be described as a Kabukicho cabaret, but words can’t do it justice. Expect music, dance, and high-energy performances in eye-raising costumes, including camped up samurai fight scenes and themes of traditional culture like taiko drumming and “yokai” monsters. And, early arrivals can enjoy pre-show entertainment from singers and dancers with a more risqué theme that perfectly suits the location. There’s no nudity, but the venue is strictly 18+. Get the drinks in, and kick back with your friends while the crooners and pole dancers set the Kabukicho ambiance.
