Description
The Motorcar Museum of Japan opened in 1978 as the first automobile museum in Japan.

The museum has sections for each manufacturer and genre, and exhibits many old commercial and popular vehicles, especially those made in Japan, as well as many rare vehicles that can only be seen here. Visitors can see a variety of cars from around the world including sports cars, as well as the history of Japan's postwar recovery with the popularization of automobiles.
