Key Information

Description

Comprised of Ehime, Kagawa, Kochi, and Tokushima Prefectures, Shikoku is Japan's smallest island and region. Famed for the ancient pilgrimage route of the same name, Shikoku is home to long-standing temples and shrines, one of Japan's oldest onsen (Dogo Onsen in Ehime), energetic dance festivals (yosakoi in Kochi and Awa Odori in Tokushima), art-filled islands off the coast of Kagawa, and more. Especially if you're a repeat visitor to Japan, don't skip Shikoku — see what it has to offer and fall in love with this tiny region with the JR All Shikoku Rail Pass! Available in three-, four-, five-, and seven-day versions, the JR All Shikoku Rail Pass, which is only for non-Japanese passport holders on a Temporary Visitor visa, gives tourists unlimited access to the following (within the prescribed validity period): COVERAGE AREA • Non-reserved seats in regular cars on all JR Shikoku and Tosa Kuroshio Railway limited express, rapid, and local trains • All Asa Kaigan Railway, Iyo Railway, Takamatsu-Kotohira Electric Railroad, and Tosaden Kotsu lines • Shodoshima Ferry (between Takamatsu and Tonosho; regular ferry only) • Shodoshima Olive Bus The following, however, are outside the coverage area of this pass: • Botchan Train • Shodoshima Ferry high-speed service, or any other passage that's not between Takamatsu and Tonosho • Buses other than Shodoshima Olive Bus Also, please take note of the following: • This pass can be used on the JR Seto-Ohashi Line from Kojima Station southward, but not north of Kojima Station (in the direction of Okayama Station), as Okayama — while close to Shikoku — is not part of the Shikoku region • This pass is not valid for the DMV segment of the Asa Kaigan Railway that's bound for Muroto What's more, you can enjoy discounts and other perks at selected attractions and services just by presenting your JR All Shikoku Rail Pass! Participating services and attractions include Iyotetsu Takashimaya Giant Ferris Wheel and JR Shikoku Bus — please check the official website for details: https://rakuten-travelexp.net/shikoku-rail-pass Book now for the first step in planning your Shikoku itinerary!
