Important Information

• The JR All Shikoku Rail Pass is only valid for those holding non-Japanese passports and with a Temporary Visitor visa under the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act. Foreign residents in Japan, whether working, participating in a study-abroad program, or such, are not eligible for this pass. Anyone ineligible who is found using this pass will be fined for misuse. If you are a non-Japanese residing in Japan, please purchase the JR Shikoku 3-Day Pass instead (available from May 1–September 30, 2022) • Please note that this pass is different from the JR Shikoku 3-Day Pass, which can also be used by foreign residents in Japan but has a more limited railway coverage area. You can book this pass here: https://experiences.travel.rakuten.com/experiences/24058 • Your e-ticket only serves as an exchange order; it is not the JR All Shikoku Rail Pass itself • Children ages 0–5 may travel with their companions for free, but they must sit on a parent or guardian's lap. If they will require a seat of their own, please purchase a child-priced ticket • This pass is non-transferrable; it can only be used by the person whose name is printed on the special pass case. You will be asked to present your passport to prove your identity, so please carry it around with you at all times • Please be careful with your pass; in the event of loss, damage, or theft, it cannot be reissued • Even in the event of service suspensions, delays, or cancellations, you will not be eligible for a refund or extension of the validity period once you have started using your JR All Shikoku Rail Pass • This Pass is only valid for non-reserved seats, but if you wish to upgrade to reserved seating (available only on selected trains), you can purchase a booklet of 4 reserved-seating tickets at a discount at the redemption location for your JR All Shikoku Rail Pass (except Kotohira Station Information Counter and Nippon Travel Agency's TiS Okayama branch). These tickets can be shared among your companions • Certain segments of some railway routes are not part of the JR All Shikoku Rail Pass's coverage area; please see the Description section for details. In such cases, you will have to pay extra fees for the segments not covered

Description

Comprised of Ehime, Kagawa, Kochi, and Tokushima Prefectures, Shikoku is Japan's smallest island and region. Famed for the ancient pilgrimage route of the same name, Shikoku is home to long-standing temples and shrines, one of Japan's oldest onsen (Dogo Onsen in Ehime), energetic dance festivals (yosakoi in Kochi and Awa Odori in Tokushima), art-filled islands off the coast of Kagawa, and more. Especially if you're a repeat visitor to Japan, don't skip Shikoku — see what it has to offer and fall in love with this tiny region with the JR All Shikoku Rail Pass!

Available in three-, four-, five-, and seven-day versions, the JR All Shikoku Rail Pass, which is only for non-Japanese passport holders on a Temporary Visitor visa, gives tourists unlimited access to the following (within the prescribed validity period):

COVERAGE AREA • Non-reserved seats in regular cars on all JR Shikoku and Tosa Kuroshio Railway limited express, rapid, and local trains • All Asa Kaigan Railway, Iyo Railway, Takamatsu-Kotohira Electric Railroad, and Tosaden Kotsu lines • Shodoshima Ferry (between Takamatsu and Tonosho; regular ferry only) • Shodoshima Olive Bus

The following, however, are outside the coverage area of this pass: • Botchan Train • Shodoshima Ferry high-speed service, or any other passage that's not between Takamatsu and Tonosho • Buses other than Shodoshima Olive Bus

Also, please take note of the following: • This pass can be used on the JR Seto-Ohashi Line from Kojima Station southward, but not north of Kojima Station (in the direction of Okayama Station), as Okayama — while close to Shikoku — is not part of the Shikoku region • This pass is not valid for the DMV segment of the Asa Kaigan Railway that's bound for Muroto

What's more, you can enjoy discounts and other perks at selected attractions and services just by presenting your JR All Shikoku Rail Pass! Participating services and attractions include Iyotetsu Takashimaya Giant Ferris Wheel and JR Shikoku Bus — please check the official website for details: https://rakuten-travelexp.net/shikoku-rail-pass

Book now for the first step in planning your Shikoku itinerary!
