Key Information

Description

When in Okinawa, marine activities are a must-do! This snorkeling tour will take you to some of Ishigaki Island's most popular and photogenic locations. Snorkel around the waters of Hamajima Island and in Ishigaki's Blue Cave — all part of Iriomote Ishigaki National Park, home to Japan's largest coral reef. Also known as "Phantom Island" because it only appears at low tide (and its appearance also changes depending on the tide), Hamajima is an uninhabited island that's just 30 minutes away from Ishigaki by ferry. This island that was naturally formed atop coral skeletons is a popular filming location because of its white sand and the crystal-clear blue waters that surround it. Meanwhile, Ishigaki's Blue Cave is called such because it's submerged in vivid-blue waters, and it looks as if it's bathed in blue light. Enjoy snorkeling in the Blue Cave's waters, and watch schools of fish swim by! This snorkeling tour is beginner-friendly, so don't worry if you lack snorkeling experience — your guide will assist you all throughout. This tour also includes a photography service; after it ends, you'll receive digital copies of all photos taken during the tour — memories of your Ishigaki adventure!
