- . To use this pass, you must be a foreign tourist visiting Japan from abroad for sightseeing, under the entry status of 'temporary visitor'. According to Japanese Immigration Law, 'Temporary Visitor' entry status allows a stay in Japan of 15 days up to 90 days for sight-seeing and other purposes.
- . Japanese citizens may not use this pass.
- . Conditions of purchase: Temporary visitors entering Japan for sightseeing purposes are eligible for purchase. Upon entering Japan, you will obtain a "temporary visitor" stamp in your passport if you are coming to Japan for sightseeing.In order to get the voucher for the physical pass, your passport with the “Temporary visitor” stamp, or a card that certifies you are accepted being in “Trusted Travelers Program” is required. Even if you get stamps other than “Temporary Visitor”, you are not admitted to purchase KINTETSU RAIL PASS. ※For KINTETSU RAIL PASS 1-day, 2-day, KINTETSU RAIL PASS and KINTETSU RAIL PASS plus, your passport will be checked at the time of purchase or exchange.
- . If there is no start date on your ticket, the station attendant will stamp or write it down.
- . When asked to show your ticket during the trip, please show your ticket.
- . Passes cannot be used for ropeways.
- . You must purchase a separate ticket when traveling outside the zones designated by the pass.
- . The tickets are handled in accordance with the terms and conditions of the relevant transportation system and the laws of Japan.
- . The ticket may only be used by the holder and cannot be transferred to anyone else.
- . Lost tickets will not be reissued.
- . Pass will be valid for 5 days, starting from the first day of use.

- . Children under 6 can travel free of charge.
- . Refunds can only be issued for unredeemed, valid vouchers and must be requested by 11:59 PM (Japan time) on the day prior to the event. To request a refund, please reach out to the website where you bought the ticket or your travel agency for the correct procedures. Refunds cannot be processed at the station counter and will not be provided once the ticket has been exchanged.
- . To board a Limited Express train, both a Kintetsu Rail Pass and a Limited Express ticket are required.
- . This voucher is valid for 6 months from the date of purchase. Please exchange this voucher for a physical ticket at the designated Kintetsu railway stations, within 6 months from the date of purchase.
