Experience the Japanese culture and experience the world of samurai in this workshop. Practice different techniques in this dojo and learn skills with the samurai's weapons, the sword and the bow.

• Please let us know the height and weight of the participants so that we can prepare training clothes. 【important 1】 Please arrive 20-30 minutes before your scheduled appointment time. We have had several cases where guests do not show up more than an hour after their reserved time and end up waiting 2 hours before showing up. Waiting for those who are late and consequently cannot come is causing inconvenience to other guests and guests in the next course. Please arrive before the start time. 【important 2】Concerning media coverage and filming. If you would like to use this experience for news gathering or social networking, please be sure to inform us of your company name, name of the person in charge, contact information and purpose of use in advance. If you inform us on the day of your visit, you will understand, but it will cause inconvenience to other guests. We will charter the room (a separate charter fee will be charged), so please be sure to let us know in advance. • Children below the age of 18 may also participate with written permission from their parents. • Maximum number of people is on request (up to 10 people). • In case your first choice is unavailable, we will do our best to book your second or third choice. My classe is not for entertainment for foreigners. My class is not a tourist trap either.
I am one of the very few masters in the world who has mastered both swordsmanship and horseback archery and continues to pass them down. Your instructor is a master of swordsmanship and horseback archery.
This is the only place in Japan where you can get practical training in swordsmanship, the main weapon of the SAMURAI, see the real Japanese traditional horseback archery costume from 1000 years ago, and experience archery. Guests who are interested in samurai culture should come to my class. You can experience real SAMURAI training.
Join samurai training in a real dojo. This class allows you to experience swordsmanship and archery. Gain insight into the art of Samurai. Learn about samurai culture, hone your skills.
Upon arrival at the dojo, you will receive a short lecture and change into training wear.
In the iai lesson, you will learn how to handle and swing the mock sword. In the gekken lesson, you will learn the timing of attack and defense, and spar with a practice sword. There is also an activity where you can check the blade line.
You can also try out a bow, which was the main weapon of the samurai 1000 years ago.
Participants will also have the opportunity to see a live demonstration of Toyama-ryu 7th grade. This classes are not entertainment, so you'll get to see a variety of difficult techniques. Look forward to it.
