• Each rickshaw can carry two adults Activity Rules - This tour requires at least two participants for us to accept your booking - Children aged 0–7 must be accompanied by an adult - One child aged 0–7 can ride free of charge with each fare-paying adult - Women in the first 16 weeks of pregnancy are not allowed to ride rickshaws

Description

Discover Tokyo’s historic past while riding in a rickshaw as you explore the historic Asakusa area. These are just a few of the experiences you can discover on this tour: Visit Kaminarimon, the huge red “Thunder Gate” built over a thousand years ago, and admire its stunning red architecture and lanterns, with Senso-ji Temple behind it. Look up at the Tokyo Skytree, and learn how its design reflects the Edo Period’s traditional artisan culture. Learn about the relationship between Buddhist and Shinto beliefs at the sacred temple Matsuchiyama Shoden Honryuin, then visit the Asakusa Engei Hall for the traditional comic storytelling performed there daily.
