What to Bring
- Clothing/Belongings: Required Items: White rice or rice balls (please bring your staple food for lunch or dinner). At least two hand towels (we provide these, but more is fine). Clothes that are comfortable to move in and don't mind getting wet (short sleeves, shorts, and sandals are fine for those who are used to it. Bring a change of clothes as they will get dirty). Boots or shoes that don't mind getting wet (your shoes will definitely get wet. Having a change of shoes will make the return trip more pleasant). *There are three types of rain boots available for rental. Drinks (at least 500ml). A cooler box (at least 15L) (for bringing home fish). Motion sickness medicine. Seasonal Clothing: Winter: Boat fishing in winter is similar to skiing. Please dress in layers. Be sure to choose a windproof outer layer. Summer: Rain boots are recommended. Sandals are also acceptable. You will be exposed to sea breezes and strong sunlight. Be sure to bring a hat and sunscreen! Motion sickness prevention: Aneron is recommended for adults and Semper Drink Type for children. It takes effect one to two hours after taking it, so take it before boarding the ship. If you are prone to motion sickness, take it before going to bed.
