Customers will be guided to the lecture venue (banquet hall). Lecture About Sumo • Start 13:55, end 14:10 • Duration: 15 minutes • The National Government Licensed English Guide Interpreter will conduct a lecture about sumo at Swissotel Nankai Osaka. Transfer • Transportation: on foot • Head to Edion Arena Osaka Watch the Grand Sumo Tournament at Edion Arena Osaka • Start 14:20, end 18:00 • Duration: 220 minutes • Enjoy the thrilling sumo matches: — If 3F D Class Chair Seating option is booked: from the 3rd floor D-class chair seating. — If 3F B Class Chair Seating option is booked: from the 3rd floor B-class chair seating. — If 3F A Class Chair Seating option is booked: from the 3rd floor A-class chair seating. — If 3F S Class Chair Seating option is booked: from the 3rd floor S-class chair seating. Time Schedule: • 15:40 - Makuuchi Wrestler Ceremonial Entrance, Yokozuna Grand Champion Ring Entrance (will not take place if there are no Yokozuna present) The crowd comes alive at the sight of their favorite wrestlers and cheers them on. The atmosphere in the arena brightens instantly. • 16:00 - Makuuchi Division Wrestlers' Sumo Matches • 18:00 - Bow-twirling Ceremony Enjoying the Venue: 1. Check out the entrance lobby to look at the championship flags and other items given to champion sumo wrestlers. The lobby is also a popular spot for photo taking. *Not available on the last tournament day due to award ceremony preparations for the concluding program. 2. The 1st floor Sumo Association official merchandise shop features direct sales of Sumo Association products planned and sold by stable masters. 3. The 2nd and 3rd floor shops offer a range of sumo-related items great for souvenirs of the March tournament. *All tour participants will receive "The Sumo," a booklet about sumo (in English); and Banzuke-hyo, a table of rankings, as a gift (1 per person). Tour Ends at Edion Arena Osaka • Start 18:20 • Please head to your next destination on your own after the tour. Those who prefer may ask the National Government Licensed English Guide Interpreter for explanations such as how to get to the nearest station. • Time Required On Foot to Nearest Station: Namba Station (Osaka Metro Midosuji Line): about 5 min on foot. Nankai Namba Station (Nankai Main Line): about 5 min on foot.

Operation Conditions/Tour Conditions
- Bookings may be made until 05:00 on the day of the tour. Please make a reservation on the system until the reservation deadline.
- If the minimum number of participants (1) is not met by 4 days before the scheduled date, or due to other operational management circumstances, the tour on that date may be canceled.
- Please note that participants may not join partway through the tour. Also, participants may join only from the meeting location specified in advance.
- For requests regarding tours where answers from the tour operator are required in advance, please input in the Remarks field and contact the tour operator.
Exemptions/Itinerary Guarantee: Itinerary/Destinations Spectator Etiquette: Please note that you will have to wait to be seated if one of the following events is underway at the time: a sumo match, a speech by the Sumo Association (on the first and the last tournament day), the ring entering procession of the Makuuchi division wrestlers (dohyoiri), the ring entering procession of the Yokozuna, or the ritual stomping ceremony (on the last tournament day). In such a case, please wait until the event is over before proceeding to spectator seating. Also, the National Government Licensed English Guide Interpreter will not be able to provide explanations or other guidance during these events.
Important Notes/Supplements: Regarding Children/Infants
- Children up to 3 years of age may also join, but must sit on the lap of a parent or guardian while watching. If the child requires a seat, please make a booking at the child rate (typically for ages 4–11).
- Stroller storage areas are available on the 2nd and 3rd floors. However, please note that we take no responsibility in case of theft, etc. in the arena. Strollers cannot be brought inside the arena seating area.

Access Sample - Osaka Downtown from Umeda to Namba Station: From Umeda Station (Osaka Metro Midosuji Line), approx. 10 min (4 stops) to Namba Station.
Sample Access from Kyoto Station to Namba Station: Approx. 45 min from Kyoto Station to Namba Station.
From Kyoto Station, take the JR Kyoto Line Special Rapid Service train to Osaka Station. Transfer to Umeda Station and take the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line train to Namba Station.

- For those participating in a wheelchair, please indicate so in the remarks field when booking.
- As the wheelchair storage area is on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the venue, please go to the 3rd floor spectator seating on your own or with the help of an accompanying group member.
- Wheelchairs cannot be brought into the 3rd floor A-class chair seating.

2. A National Government Licensed English Guide Interpreter knowledgeable about sumo wrestling will give a lecture on sumo before customers go spectating. Customers will be guided into the venue. Everyone from beginners to sumo and sumo fans alike can surely gain a deeper insight into the grand sumo tournament.
3. All tour participants will receive "The Sumo," a booklet about sumo (in English); and Banzuke-hyo, a table of rankings, as a gift! Feel free to use it while watching.
