- . Notices: Shimekazari decorations are displayed during the New Year period. From March to September is an off-season and from October to December is on-season, the same price applied. No English interpreter, I will do my best. I conduct workshops at my house, so you will have a chance to see a Japanese ordinary house.

Description
Unlike traditional straw decorations, we will make shimekazari decorations from papers. Colorful shimekazari decorations are very cute and perfectly match any room. We use pine tree and bamboo leaves that retain vivid color even in winter and a Japanese sarcandra flower which is believed to bring a good fortune. To make our decorations more beautiful we may use folding fans made of ribbons produced in Kyoto and a national flower of Japan, chrysanthemums or gorgeous dahlia flowers.
