■River Adventure Club "Hozugawa Base"■Address: 7-1 Yamamoto Kanda, Shinomachi, Kameoka City, Kyoto Prefecture 5 minutes walk from JR Umahori Station, Kameoka City, Kyoto Prefecture (approximately 30 minutes from Kyoto Station on the JR Sagano Line (Sanin Main Line)) *For those coming by train 5 minutes walk from JR Sagano Line "Umahori" Station. After exiting the ticket gate, turn left at the corner of Lawson on your left. Then follow the road to the end. Look for the green tent and sign. *For those coming by car There is a parking lot at "Torokko Kameoka Station" (paid passenger car 700 yen). Parking on private land in the surrounding area can cause trouble, so please follow the rules and manners. *If the parking lot at "Torokko Kameoka Station" is full, please park in the paid parking lot near "JR Umahori Station".

  • Rental goods: According to weather of the day, a tour guide will help you with appropriate clothing. Generally you will wear a wet suit for rafting (a jumpsuit without sleeves) If it is cold you may wear special jackets over your wet suit. On the contrary from mid-July to mid-September, no wet suits necessary to avoid heat stoke. You may wear any clothes that can get wet. You may bring rush guards, board shorts, leggings For customers who do not have any synthetic fiber wear, we can provide a standard wet suit. Let us know on the tour day.
