The restaurant has been awarded 1-star in the Tokyo Michelin Food and Beverages guide for seven consecutive years. It is a small restaurant that showcases the flavors of each season through the use of seasonal ingredients. Guests can savor the freshest ingredients of the season prepared with exquisite culinary skills. The restaurant also offers a wide variety of shochu, making it an authentic Japanese dining experience.
Daigo is situated in a square courtyard made of traditional Japanese granite, surrounded by tall pine and cypress trees. Guests can enjoy their meal while admiring the beautiful Japanese garden. Being in this unique setting, one can easily forget that they are in Tokyo. The restaurant offers a Japanese menu that changes monthly to reflect the four seasons in Japan. Guests can experience the beauty of spring, the refreshing coolness of summer, the vibrant colors of autumn, and the serene scenes of winter through their taste buds.
The fourth-generation owner has inherited the culinary genes passed down from generation to generation, is proficient in the long-standing Japanese cooking skills, and is willing to constantly try and challenge options, making a new interpretation of traditional Japanese cuisine, which always brings us surprises.
