Overview
With lights illuminating 130 years of history, we step into a new year.
“NAKED Yoru Mairi Heian Shrine” is a nighttime visiting event held to commemorate the 130th anniversary of the shrine’s founding.
With light and projection art by NAKED, INC., the shrine buildings and gardens are illuminated in a dreamlike atmosphere, offering a special experience themed around “prayer,” where visitors can reflect on the past year and welcome the new one with hope.
As a special 130th-anniversary program, a quiz rally will also be held, allowing children to learn about the shrine’s history while collecting glowing stamps.
It is a new form of cultural experience where people of all generations can enjoy the winter nights of Kyoto.
