Overview

Soba Making Experience, a 30-minute cooking experience. The "Soba Cutting Experience" is a cooking activity that is a little different from conventional soba making experiences, employing Rakujyo's original smart hand techniques that are based on new ideas for the coming age.

The experience of making JYUWARI-Soba made with 100% Shinshu-grown buckwheat flour is easier, shorter, and more fun than ever before. Since there is no mixing of flour and water by hand, there is no risk of soiling accessories or clothes. Just pick up the fun part! Excellent time-performance! This event will be held at an open cooking studio store under the arcade on Kappabashi Dogugai Street. You can make your own while drinking, chatting, and taking pictures with your smartphone in the spacious and beautiful space just opened in March 2024. We generously use the highest quality buckwheat flour from Nagano Prefecture, which is considered to have the most intense aroma and taste in Japan, and have thoroughly refined our techniques to make it easy for beginners and women to make. The buckwheat is professionally boiled within 5 minutes of cutting the buckwheat, so the aroma of the buckwheat comes through directly, and the original flavor of the buckwheat can be felt surprisingly, which is not easily experienced at cost-oriented buckwheat noodle restaurants. How about a buckwheat noodle-slicing contest with your family or friends? No power required for women alone, couples, little kids, or families of any age! How it works

▶One parent and one child can participate as one team. (The amount of soba noodles will be made for one person.) ▶Kids can experience it alone with adult support. ▶Kids must be at least 6 years old for the kids-only experience with adult support, and junior high school students and older for the full-on experience. ▶Wheelchair users are basically allowed to participate. However, it may be difficult to use force due to the height of the table, etc., so it is preferable to have a support person present.
