Description
Start from Fujinomiya 5th station and go to 6th station. After that, climb to the summit of Mt. Hoei (2,693m), which was formed during the Hoei eruption in 1707. This "Hoeisan" is a mountain that was formed by the upheaval of the stratum of "Old Mt. Fuji" that existed more than 10,000 years ago. On the way back, you will pass through the forest belt that extends to the forest limit of Mt. Fuji, and descend while listening to alpine plants and small birds.
