Description
The Nasu Animal Kingdom, spread over 43 hectares of land on the Nasu Plateau, is home to approximately 600 animals, ranging from friendly animals to birds such as American bald eagles and penguins, as well as adorable cats and dogs.
Nasu Animal Kingdom is different from ordinary zoos in that it is designed so that you can not only tour and observe animals, but also enjoy interacting with the animals up close. You can feed animals such as horses, alpacas, sheep, and penguins, and play with cats and dogs. In winter, you can even see capybaras bathing in the hot springs fed directly by the source. Also, various performances are held every day. There are spectacular bird-of-prey performances, nimble cats overcoming obstacles, and sheep-herding performances by enthusiastic sheepdogs.
There is also a spacious stone run, making it a friendly facility for dog lovers. There is also a restaurant and gift shop. Nasu Animal Kingdom is a side dish for everyone from children to adults. It's perfect for kids on a day trip from Tokyo, so why not spend an idyllic day with the animals?
