Why not try SUP at Minatohama Beach in Miyagi Prefecture? Anyone with a desire to have fun is welcome to join us! After a lecture on basic SUP knowledge and paddling techniques on the beach, practice begins on the water! Start from a sitting position and when you get used to it, you can finally try paddling standing up! Enjoy the new view from the sea!

SIJ (SUP Instructors of Japan) certified instructors and SUPA (Stand Up Paddleboard Association) certified instructors provide thorough and detailed instruction on the basics, such as how to stand on the board and hold the paddle. [POINT 1] Beginners are welcome! Experience is available from just one person! Even complete beginners can have fun. The board may wobble at first, but you will be able to keep your balance while paddling! For beginners, instructors will carefully and thoroughly guide you through the basics, such as where to stand on the board and how to hold the paddle! [POINT 2] SDGs Beach clean-up experience! (For those who wish to participate) After experiencing SUP, experience a beach clean-up! While cleaning the beach, think about SDG Goal 14: "Protect the richness of the oceans"! We will prepare the beach clean-up bags and tongs. [POINT 3] We will provide photo data of the experience. We will provide you with photographic data of your experience. 'I don't feel comfortable taking photos on the board' or 'I can't take my camera with me as it would get wet' You don't need to worry about this! Our instructors and staff will take good photos of you! [POINT 4] Free pick-up from Tagajo Station on the JR Senseki Line! If you wish, we offer free pick-up from Tagajo Station on the JR Senseki Line. Please let us know at the time of booking if you wish to use this service. [POINT 5] "Minatohama Beach Seaside Rest Area" available! Changing rooms, toilets and water showers are available. *Water showers will be available from 1 July until 30 September. *Only if the event is held at Minatohama Beach.
