Description
Hachimantai Ski Resort features two amazing areas, Panorama Ski Area and Shimokura Ski Area, for everyone to enjoy according to their level!
The Shimokura Ski Area sits on the eastern slope of Mt. Shimokura, with an altitude of 1,177 meters. The Panorama Ski Area is next to the Hachimantai Mountain Hotel, making it easy for hotel guests and those with children, to reach the slopes. Its long, wide, and flat course with an average angle of 12 degrees and runs of up 2,700 meters long is gentle, and highly recommended for children, families, and beginners.
The courses and tree-run areas, which take advantage of the undulating terrain, are especially rich in low-moisture ultralight powder, giving visitors the chance to ski on some of the best snow to be found anywhere!
