Ms. Fumiko Iku is a woodturner who manufactures products. In this program, you can experience making wooden bowls at Mr. Iku's workshop "Hoori", which is located in a rural village. Trees grow thick over decades, and even after being felled, they take a long time to dry before being brought into the workshop by chance. Mr. Iku's work as a woodturner is one in which he stoically faces the products of time.
