Description

The Forest of Environmental Art (Kankyo Geijutsu No Mori) sits at the foot of Mt. Sakureizan, and took 30 years to construct. While this ethereal forest captivates year-round, it unveils its true magic in the fall.

This woodland has almost 10,000 maple trees planted, and in fall, their leaves in turn deep crimson and golden-green. There is also "Fuyusans," rebuilt from an ancient folk house in the territory, where you can enjoy a hot drink, gaze at the golden fall maple leaves during autumn or the lush green scenery during summer
