Operated by the Toei Company, a producer of Japanese television and film, Toei Kyoto Studio Park is an experiential theme park where you can enjoy not only attractions like the ninja experience and transformation experience but also live-action depictions of Toei animation characters. This nostalgic fantasy land revives the classical spirit of the Edo period, by creating a replica of an old Japanese town, including traditional buildings, and staff dressed as ninjas, samurai, and geisha. In fact, "Toei Uzumasa Eigamura" (as the locals call it) is also used as an open-air film set for Edo period movies and TV shows.
