Schedule
Tour begins Sumida River Where Asakusa’s history unfolds. Crossing the Azumabashi bridge, we’ll see the Tokyo Sky Tree and Asahi Breweries' iconic golden flame.
Next stop is the Asakusa Culture and Tourist Information Center An architectural marvel with an observation deck offering views of landmarks like Kaminarimon Gate, Nakamise Shopping Street, Hozomon Gate, and Senso-ji Temple.
Kaminarimon (Thunder) Gate Known for its giant red lantern.
Leads us to Nakamise Shopping Street A lively shopping street filled with souvenirs and traditional snacks.
Hozomon (Treasure) Gate Houses treasures of Senso-ji Temple, which we’ll explore, including the historic Five-storied Pagoda.
Senso-ji Temple Before entering the temple's main hall, we’ll engage in rituals like drawing omikuji and purifying ourselves at the fountain.
Lastly, we’ll visit Asakusa Shrine Highlighting the unique coexistence of Buddhism and Shintoism in Japanese culture.
