Important Information
- . Age limit: 6~65
- . Activitty cancellation: ・ Minimum number of participants is 2. If the number of participants is less than the minimum number, the event may be canceled.・ The tour will be canceled if it is judged that there is a danger such as flooding due to heavy rain.

Precautions: ① If you are uncomfortable with using the portable toilet, please refrain from drinking caffeine because there is no proper restroom during the canoe & trekking tour. ② If drinking is confirmed on the day of the tour, we will refuse to participate in the tour. In that case, it will be canceled on the day, so please refrain from drinking alcohol on the day of the tour or deep drinking the day before. ③ We ask for your cooperation in smoking cessation during the canoeing and trekking tour. Please note that those who do not cooperate will not be able to participate.

The trekking route is not on a properly paved sidewalk, but on a course with many slippery rocks and steps. Please make sure to check the following: ◎ Have mountain climbing or trekking experience within the last year ◎ Can skip one step of stairs ◎ Have the stamina to run 1-2 kilometers in the heat of midsummer ◎ Have never suffered from a serious illness or injury in the past ◎ Be healthy and able to participate in group activities
Experience details
- Insurance, restricted field entry fee (500 yen/person from March 1, 2025), canoe equipment, drink (700mm water bottle), backpack, shoes (18cm-30cm), rain gear, pick-up and drop-off
If you are staying in Iriomote Island, you will be picked up around 13:15, but it will be slightly different depending on the accommodation.
For day trips from Ishigaki island, it will be at 13:15 Uehara Port.
We will pick you up at your accommodation (excluding some areas) or Uehara Harbor.

- Clothing/Belongings: Please come dressed in comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting wet or dirty. Please wear a swimsuit as you will get wet while paddling the canoe and bathing in the waterfall. Shorts and short sleeves are fine, but if you are concerned about sunburn or insect bites, long sleeves and long pants are recommended. We will provide trekking shoes, so you can come wearing sandals. Swimsuit (to wear underneath) Sun protection clothing (rash guard, hat, sunglasses, etc.) Windbreaker or other outerwear (useful on bad or cold days)
- Rental goods: We will rent sawa shoes for free (18cm to 30cm)

Mangrove canoeing and jungle trekking to the basin of Pinaisara Falls, the largest waterfall in Okinawa Prefecture! A canoeing and trekking course that beginners and children can easily participate in. Recommended for those who want to spend time on the island slowly while enjoying the charm of Iriomote Island's nature at the basin of the waterfall! [Day trippers from Ishigaki] 12:45-13:00 Pick-up at Uehara Port (staff will pick you up) *From October to March, there is a high possibility that the Uehara route will be canceled due to the influence of north winds. If the Uehara route is canceled, please board a boat from Ishigaki Island to Ohara Port, and when you arrive at Ohara Port, please take the boat company's shuttle bus (about 50 minutes) to Uehara Port. [Guests staying at Iriomote Island] 12:45-13:00 Pick up from Uehara Port or accommodation (pick-up service is only available from Uehara Port or accommodation in the Uehara area). 13:15 Arrive at the canoe launch point, then start canoeing and trekking after a lecture (one way: 40 minutes canoeing, 30 minutes trekking). *There will be a lecture, so even first-timers can feel at ease. 14:45 Arrive at Pinaisara Falls, break, coffee break 15:15 Return trekking and canoeing 16:30 After arriving at the canoe launch point, we will drop you off at Uehara Port or your accommodation.
