What to Bring
  • Clothing/Belongings: [Clothing] We recommend thin long sleeves to prevent sunburn, insect bites, and scratches on vegetation and branches even in the hot summer months. In cold weather, it is better to have a water-repellent inner such as a heat tech and a windbreaker. As for the bottom, it is good to wear easy-to-move clothes such as shorts on leggings regardless of the time, but jeans and jerseys are also fine. [What to bring] Change clothes, towels, drinks, insect repellent, sandals (crocs or marine shoes are convenient) Please use the cleaned restroom at the roadside station to change clothes. Please bring a hat as a measure against heat stroke in the summer. * * Since many gnats and mosquitoes occur in Amami Forest throughout the year, we recommend clothes with less exposed skin as a measure against insect bites.
  • Rental goods: Rain gear, sandals (no rental for small children)
