NARA KINGYO MUSEUM was born in Nara Prefecture, where Yamatokoriyama City, one of the three major goldfish production centers in Japan, is located. It is said to be a space of "odoroki" (surprise), "iyashi" (healing), and "kando" (excitement) that is worthy of an entertainment aquarium, where visitors can experience goldfish through all five senses. It is different from conventional goldfish exhibits in that it offers an emotional experience that stimulates all five senses.

The entire museum is based on the concept of "goldfish," and is created by the most current artists of the day. Enjoy the unique experience of projection mapping, flowers, terrariums, mirror balls, and more. The stars of the show are goldfish from Yamatokoriyama City, ranging from familiar varieties to rare species. They swim gracefully, flowingly, and beautifully. The whole museum is an art space, so please bring your camera and enjoy the photos and videos captured from your own perspective.
