Sugadaira Kogen Snow Resort, located in Ueda City, Nagano Prefecture, is about 200 km from Tokyo. Further south than some of the more famous resorts, Sugadaira is perfect for a day trip: around 3 hours by car or 2.5 hours by Shinkansen and bus! The ski resort is spread across a plateau with a base altitude of 1,250 meters, and its 175 hectares of wide slopes offer a rich variety, with 60 courses catering to all levels of skiers, men and women, young and old.
