At Koide Ski Resort in Uonuma City, Niigata Prefecture, the slopes offer a panoramic view of the Echigo Sanzan (three mountains of Echigo) and Uonuma City. And being in walking distance of Koide Station, you can visit via public transport! There are slopes for children and courses for beginners, intermediate, and advanced skiers to enjoy winter to the fullest! Get your lift tickets and enjoy the slopes this winter! *The 2023–2024 ski season is scheduled from December 23, 2023 to March 10, 2024, and lifts are open from 9:00 to 16:15 on weekdays and 9:00 to 16:45 on holidays (this lift ticket does not include use during night skiing hours).

Koide Ski Resort was established in 1953. Surrounded by the Echigo Sanzan and Uonuma mountains, the slopes are also used by local schools. With courses for beginners and those seeking to improve their skills, visitors can enjoy not only the skiing but also the beautiful views. There are a total of five courses, each named after animals. The Tanuki Course and Squirrel Course are suitable for beginners. The Fox Course and Rabbit Course are for intermediate and advanced skiers, and the Kamoshika Course will satisfy all comers. There is also a children's slope, so kids will never get bored! Meals can be enjoyed at the "Mercure" restaurant and the "Yamakoya" cafeteria. A wide variety of light meals and drinks are available, but be sure to try the Katsu Curry (pork cutlet curry) at Märchen and the Mochi Ton Don (rice topped with glutinous rice and mochi) made with Echigo mochi pork at Yamakoya. And the Uonuma Koshihikari rice will keep you energized on the slopes! There are two free parking lots, one nearest the Sogo Ski Center and the other at the adjacent hot spring facility, Mihazarenoyu Komami, with a total of 170 parking spaces available. In addition, the parking lots are within walking distance of Koide Station for easy access, so you can come either by car or by train.

Open days: December 23, 2023 to March 10, 2024 Business Hours: •Weekdays: 09:00–16:30 •Saturdays: 09:00–20:00 •Sundays and holidays: 09:00–17:00 (Depending on the condition of the slopes, maintenance work on the slopes may occur for about 30 minutes during business hours or before night skiing.) Night skiing: • Scheduled every Saturday from January to March • Night skiing hours: 17:00¬–20:00 • Subject to change depending on snowfall conditions. • Lift operations may be suspended or courses may be closed depending on snowfall and weather conditions • Opening hours are subject to change due to weather conditions • This pass is not valid for night skiing • Please confirm details on the official website **From reservation to entry, it's a simple 2-step process!** Step 1: After booking your ticket on Rakuten Travel Experience, an e-ticket will be sent to your registered e-mail address. Step 2: When you arrive at the facility, please visit the entrance counter and click on the "Voucher" link in the e-mail sent to you at the time of purchase.
