Description
Explore this historic estate built by Masakichi Aoyama and his daughter Masae, whose family led one of Shukutsu's three great fisherman's unions. Otaru Kihinkan features splendid halls, ceilings, and transoms of rosewood and sandalwood. Also of note is the Eight Immortals Hall, where you can admire Ryu Shimazaki's ink-wash paintings that adorn 13 sliding screens, depicting the Eight Immortals of Taoism.
