Shimoda Underwater Aquarium is a circular aquarium that floats on the sea in a natural cove, where you can enjoy such sights as dolphin shows, sea lion shows, and feeding shows in a large tank that simulates the seas around Izu. The aquarium is located in Shimoda City, Shizuoka Prefecture, about 40 km by car from the Tsukigase Interchange connecting the Izu-Chuo Road and Shuzenji Road. A bus route connects it with Izukyu-Shimoda Station. Closed: December 13 ~December 16, 2022
