Description

Available in three- and five-day versions, the JR North Kyushu Pass promises limitless exploration of all the delights the island's northern half has to offer. This great value pass grants unlimited travel around all or part of Fukuoka, Saga, Nagasaki, Kumamoto, and Oita Prefectures. Kyushu is the third-largest of Japan’s islands. Sometimes called the “Land of Fire” for its many active volcanoes, Kyushu is also blessed with beautiful beaches and an abundance of natural hot springs. Populous cities like Fukuoka City, Kitakyushu, and Nagasaki City offer the unique history and culture of Japan’s large southern island. Beppu entices travelers with its famous hot springs, Arita is known as the birthplace of Japanese porcelain, and the canals of sleepy Yanagawa earned it the nickname “Venice of Kyushu.” Anyone coming to the south of Japan with temporary visitor status should consider this pass, to enjoy unlimited travel on the Shinkansen, local, and limited-express trains all across the coverage area. You can book online with your pass too, and buy seat reservations on any of the following trains: The Kyushu Shinkansen between Hakata and Kumamoto (Mizuho, Sakura, and Tsubame services), Sonic, Mamome, Midori, Huis Ten Bosch, Yufuin no Mori, Yufu, Kyushu Odan Tokkyu, Kawasemi Yamasemi, A-Train, 36+3 (Sanjyu-Roku plus San), Aso, and Aso Boy!
