Key Information
Description
In the morning, our guide will pick you up at your hotel and kick off a magical one-day tour. Around 10:30 you arrive at Ninh Binh, and your guide takes you to visit the ancient Bai Dinh Pagoda sitting atop Dinh Mountain with its 500 Arhan statues. Then, we will have lunch in a local restaurant with some local special dishes. In the afternoon, you’ll set off for the Trang An Landscape Complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Near the southern margin of the Red River Delta, this is a spectacular landscape of limestone karst peaks interspersed with valleys — many being partly submerged and surrounded by sheer cliff faces. Boarding a small boat to explore the complex properly, you will see majestic limestone cliffs and mysterious yet inviting caves, as well as countryside sights like peaceful streams, rice paddies, and deserted green fields. Take the boat to visit the cave complex including Lam, Vang, Thanh Truot and Dai caves. Surrounded by wilderness and mystery, enjoy river and mountain views sometimes named “Halong on Land” after Vietnam’s beautiful Halong Bay. Then, in the late afternoon, your driver whisks you back to Hanoi as you relax and reflect on a day well spent.
