What are host clubs and Kabukicho? - Host clubs in Japan offer the possibility to spend time with a professional, a so-called "host". These "hosts" work in "host clubs", and their purpose is to entertain the female guests and make them feel special. Hosts are really good at making conversation, but they’re even better at listening. They are masters at creating an atmosphere of friendship/flirtation, and making you feel like you are the most interesting, attractive woman in the world. Usually they sit across the table and talk, but occasionally one will sit next to you instead and you’ll learn the meaning of the Japanese word “doki doki”! - Shinjuku Kabukicho Glowing with neon lights every night, Shinjuku Kabukicho is known as the city that never sleeps. Located in the Shinjuku area, Kabukicho is one of Japan's largest entertainment districts. There are many restaurants, amusement facilities and movie theaters. Kabukicho is also one of the largest red-light districts in Japan. But it has a very different atmosphere compared to red-light districts in Europe. Travel guide books might say Kabukicho and the host club area are not safe areas, and usually travel agencies don't run tours here. But these areas have a very special and unique atmosphere. ● Tour days and time: Monday to Friday Starting time is 18:30 or 19:00 ● Meeting point: JR Shinjuku station, East Exit, outside tickets gate, NEWDAYS SHOP If you are coming by walking, go to JR Shinjuku station, East gate entrance. You will see Police box, KOBAN next to East gate entrance. Go down to the stairs in the entrance. Then you will see the NEWDAYS Shop. ● The duration of this tour: 2 hours ● Cost inclusions: Included only guide fee. Host club fee, drinks and food are NOT included. Please pay for guide's host club fee during the tour. Host club fee depends on the club. It is about 7500 JPY per person. This host club fee is included host club entrance fee, table charge and drinks in the club for you, guide and host boys. No worries for extra charge for the club!!
