• Squeezing soy milk by hand requires a certain amount of strength, so young children should participate with an adult • If we have to cancel the experience due to weather, or other circumstances outside our control, we will email you by 18:00 the day before to refund or reschedule • COVID-19 prevention measures are in place, including disinfection of the venue and equipment, hand-washing, mask-wearing, and temperature checks for hosts and guests

Moon Food in Nagahama, Shiga Prefecture, is a vegan venture near the shores of beautiful Lake Biwa. Here, Marcy and Yuji make vegan delicacies from pesticide-free soybeans sourced exclusively in Shiga Prefecture.
Focusing on local and domestically grown ingredients, using no animal products, white sugar, emulsifiers, or thickeners, they make soy milk, tofu, and vegan ice cream that’s kind to nature, to your body, and your soul.
Join this workshop to gain skills and knowledge about vegan food and sustainable agriculture, while supporting sustainable travel activities in rural Japan.
