There are several workshops available, please choose the one you like. Your tie will be sent to your address a few weeks later (it cannot be finished on one day ), the shipment will cost extra, depending on item and location.

Description

Arimatsu city is one of the few old places in Nagoya area where you can still see the original Edo period buildings undamaged. Walk through the city and explore various workshops, galleries, and a museum of tie dying Shibori Kaikan, as well as interesting souvenir shops where you can purchase works of Shibori art. After lunch head to one of three available workshops to try your own hands at making a beautiful dyed art. Please choose one of the following workshops: 1. Handkerchief Dyeing 2. Table Center (A piece of cloth out in the middle of table for decoration) Dyeing 3. Noren (Japanese curtain at shop entrances) Dyeing Sample Itinerary: 09:30am - Meet at Nagoya Station 10:20am - Arrive at Arimatsu Station 11:15am - Free time in Arimatsu & Lunch 12pm - Lunch 12:45pm - Dyeing Workshop 2:45pm - Leave Arimatsu 3:30pm - Return back at Nagoya Station *Please choose the appropriate option when booking the tour. The price is per person, so if your group is 2 or more participants, please book the tour the according number of times.
