Description
Explore all the top natural and manmade wonders of the famous Grand Circle area, home to canyons, monuments, and rock formations.
This is the ultimate 1-day tour around Grand Circle — for around 18 hours, you'll visit Grand Canyon National Park and its surroundings, including Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, and more.
Your tour begins at one of the designated hotels on the Las Vegas Strip, from where you'll be picked up at 04:30 in the morning. Pick up time may vary depending on the season or other factors such as your tour reservation time at the Antelope Canyon.
The tour will be led by two Japanese-speaking driver-tour guides, each one leading half the duration of the tour due to its length. The second driver-guide will stay overnight at the tour location before joining your tour in the afternoon, in accordance with local regulations.
After departing Las Vegas, you'll get to stop at a rest stop 2 hours away in Kingman, AZ. There, you'll also get the chance to buy food and drinks at the local convenience store.
After the stop in Kingman, AZ, you'll arrive at Grand Canyon National Park within 3 hours. You can enjoy breathtaking views of the Grand Canyon from 2 different view spots here, spending around 45 minutes at Mather Point and around 30 minutes at Desert View Point.
After Desert Point, the next stop is either Lower Antelope Canyon or Horseshoe Bend. Both attractions are included in the tour, but the order in which you'll visit them depends on your reservation time at Lower Antelope Canyon.
On the way, you'll stop at a rest stop in Cameron, AZ, where your second guide will take over and you'll be provided with boxed meals for lunch.
At the Lower Antelope Canyon, you'll walk slowly through the canyon with a local Navajo tour guide. Licensed Navajo guides are the only guides authorized to lead tours of the area. You'll spend around 1 hour walking for 500 meters, pausing to rest or take pictures along the way. Note that there are stairs and hills within the canyon.
After Lower Antelope Canyon, you'll head to Horseshoe Bend. The natural attraction is about a 15-minute walk each way from the designated parking lot. You'll enjoy the view of the Colorado River running through the canyon in the shape of a horseshoe.
The final nature stop on this tour is the Wahweap Overlook from where you can see a stunning 360° view of Lake Powell and its surrounding areas. Depending on the season, you may also enjoy the sunset at this viewpoint.
After your tour of these natural wonders concludes, you'll head back to Las Vegas, which is around a 5 hours drive from the last viewpoint.
You'll get to stop at at least 1 rest stop along the way, and also stop briefly outside of Las Vegas so you can see the illuminated Las Vegas Strip from a distance.
