The park also has a hot spring and a restaurant. Kamishikimi Kumanoza ShrineThis shrine attracted attention as it was the setting for the anime movie "Hotarubi no Mori e" by Kumamoto-born manga artist Yuki Midorikawa. In recent years, the mysterious atmosphere of the shrine, which makes you feel like you have wandered into another world, has become a hot topic on social media, and it has become a popular spot visited by many visitors from Japan and abroad every day. Amanoiwato ShrineAmanoiwato Shrine is located in Takachiho Town, Miyazaki Prefecture, and enshrines the cave called Amanoiwato, where Amaterasu Omikami hid herself, as written in Japanese mythology (Kojiki and Nihon Shoki), as its sacred object, and is the setting for the Amanoiwato myth. Takachiho Gorge Takachiho Gorge is a gorge where pyroclastic flows from the Aso volcanic activity flowed in a ribbon along the Gokase River and cooled rapidly, creating beautiful cliffs with columnar joints.
